Zooarchaeological Evidence from Medieval Ojców Castle, Lesser Poland

Archaeological research at Ojców castle has yielded important information about life in that medieval castle. The results of zooarchaeological analyses presented this paper complement the archaeological research, adding to our knowledge diet inhabitants from time establishment until final residents. Zooarchaeological is also complemented by data older settlement phases on hill, directly related Lusatian culture early Iron Age. great variability remains mammals, birds, and fish taphonomic features bones found different chronological strata castle’s courtyard reflect diverse economic activities took place particular times spaces.
